Something great that happened this week was....
- "We were flexible when we couldn't do computer lab because of MAP testing, so we did library instead."

- "We read a book, I can't remember the author's name though, (she ran to check) Chris Van Allsburg, and he gave us a fun mystery." (Nyah Curcuruto)
- "We read a book called Freckle Juice by Judy Blume. It was great because of the gross ingredients they added in to the freckle juice!" (Sam Teske)
- "We are writing our personal narratives and we are almost all done!." (Emma Jefferson)
- "We read three awesome books this week. It was so great because I love reading books." (Ava Jemley)
- "Whenever we got more attention getters we did better and better and better and better. " (Leo Kruse)
- "This week we did Greek and Latin roots. Some kids went with Mrs. Kruse and some with Ms. Klope. It was very fun!" (Hope Onstad)
- "In math we're doing perimeter. I like counting the squares around, and sides of the shape." (Caleigh Detels)
- " Today we didn't do reading workshop...WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" (Jackson Butler)
The biggest thing I have learned this year is.......
- "I've learned about rocks and minerals that some of them have come from a volcano and that rocks can get their shape from the ocean." (Ella Vonanda)
- "I've learned all my multiplication tricks!" (Parisa Harvey)
- "We have learned about how the brain works and we are going to build a positive time-out space (but we are changing the name because we don't like "time-out.") ." (Caleigh Detels)
- "I've learned that never to fall for somebody's freckle juice ingredients!!" (Ava Jemley)
- " I've learned a lot about perimeter and it's a really good challenge for me learning something new." (Hope Onstad)
- "I've learned the reading equation. C + F = R (comprehension + fluency = reading!)" (Parisa Harvey)
- "I've learned to put everything where it belongs, to clean up after yourself actually. Or else you don't know what the future will hold. (This idea came after reading Chris Van Allsburg's book "Just a Dream.") Ella Vonada
- "Using our Apple 21st century technology and I'm proud to go to QAE and I love Apple. Ps- I'm so psyched about the new apple iPhone 5." (Liam McFerrin)
- "What I learned most about this year was multiplication and subtraction." (Leo Kruse)
- "Probably rocks and minerals. I didn't even know there was such thing as obsidian!" (Zane Nagel)
-" My favorite thing to learn about this year is PBL because it's really fun for me, PBL, because I just like doing projects that apply for the whole school like making voiceovers for the whole school and telling about rules. it's kinda just fun for me!" (Vince Dillon)
